What was checked
✓ Deepavali falls on Sun 8 Nov; Perak takes Mon 9 Nov as the replacement holiday (Office Holidays, BlogMalaysia). Confirm with the state calendar if it matters.
✓ Foh San: closed Tuesdays, 6:30am–2:30pm (Tripadvisor). Ming Court: 7am–2pm, closed Thursdays (TheSmartLocal). Funny Mountain: closed Tuesdays (Vegan Food Quest). None of these is 2026-dated.
Qing Xin Ling's reopening (28 Oct), hours and fees come from creators' posts, not an official page. The 2024 closure and residents' complaints about access are in The Star.
Mirror Lake hours and fares are from travel sites (Holidify), not the operator. Memory Lane's Sunday hours are from guides (Agoda).
Perak's state Deepavali open house is on 14 Nov (Bernama). The WCE traffic estimate is from Ipoh Echo (6 Nov).
RedNote links open without logging in on a phone; on a computer RedNote now asks you to log in first.
Menglembu hours and days (Tim Kee 2:30–4pm, the Tue/Fri fried-noodle stall, Hong Kee closed Sundays, MJ Kitchen closed Fridays, the Monday night market) come from creators' notes and videos from 2025–26, not official pages. Pins with a ✓ source came from the creators' own Google Maps links.
Not checked: whether small stalls are open over the holiday. Family-run shops often take Deepavali or the Monday off, so check Google Maps on the day.
